The TCSI Women's Network hosted an open, parent-focused discussion on the new school year — and what our children, and we as parents, should know to support them.
What a wonderful and insightful afternoon it was! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, August 29 for our "Smooth Sailing in School" info session — a school-focused discussion for parents, students, and caregivers. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to come together, ask questions, share experiences, and gain valuable insights into what our kids should know — and what we, as parents, should know to better support them.
What made the session truly special is that it wasn't a formal speech, but an open and engaging discussion — a space where parents could ask questions, share concerns, and learn directly from the experiences of our wonderful mentors. That warm, conversational format is exactly what WNET is about: connecting, learning, and supporting one another as a community.
